Description

The United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth, KS., is soliciting a contract for the services of Pharmacy Technician (individual, firm or institution). The contract will consist of five (5) sessions per week for approximately six (6) hours in length. The awarded contractor will be required to perform assessments, to include, but limited to, reading prescriptions written by medical staff, determination of medications prescribed, transcribing prescription data to labels, preparing prescriptions to be reviewed prior to dispensing, and giving patient instructions when appropriate to federally incarcerated inmates. Only one (1) contract, which will include a base period and two option years, will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The Request for Quotes solicitation package may be requested by submitting a written request via fax or mail. Telephone requests will not be honored. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration.
