Description

Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-personal services in accordance with the format in Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Air Force has a requirement to implement the Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS) Test Compromise Program at Randolph AFB TX. Period of performance will be 01 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001, with an additional four (4) option years. No telephone request for solicitations will be accepted. Interested eligible contractors are encouraged to submit written request for solicitation. Facsimile request will be accepted at (210) 652-5171, ext 3050. This acquisition has been set-aside for 100% small business. The Standard Industrial Code is 8742 with a size standard of 5 M. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. Offerors must provide a cage code and ensure that they are registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). THE GOVERNMENT WILL MAKE AN AWARD TO THE RESPONSIBLE OFFEROR WHOSE OFFER CONFORMS TO THIS REQUIREMENT AND IS CONSIDERED TEHCNICALLY ACCEPTABLE CONSIDERING PRICE AND PAST PERFORMANCE, AS FOLLOWS: (1) PRICE (2) ABILITY TO PERFORM AND (3) PAST PERFORMANCE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AWARD A PURCHASE ORDER TO OTHER THAN THE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE LOWEST EVALUATED PRICE OFFEROR IF THAT OFFEROR IS JUDGED TO HAVE A MODERATE OR HIGH PERFORMANCE RISK RATING.
