Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to procure Instructor Training for Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWC) personnel for CQD 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Phase Basic Underwater and Demolition SEAL (BUD/S)and CQD SEAL Tactical Training (STT) Courses. The BUD/S and STT courses are intended to prepare the SEAL operator, squad and platoon to control and dominate the close quarter fight. The courses will be mission and battle focused; and include mechanisms to ensure that instruction remains standard, consistent and up-to-date over time. The scope of this contract includes delivery of the comprehensive CQD Instructor Training; CQD Instructor Guides; CQD Lesson Plans and CQD Tac-House Guides for the CQD courses listed above. This is a continuation of the effort started under Contract N00244-97-C-5208, dated 29 September 1997. The Government anticipates a twelve month performance period. A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required. The SIC Code is 8299 (Schools and Educational Services), which has a small business size standard of $5 million. The FSC Code is U008 (Training/Curriculum Development). The total small business set-aside request for quotations will be issued on 31 August 2000 with a closing date of 06 September 2000 at 2:00 p.m. PDST. See Notes 1 and 22.
