Description
The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA is soliciting offers for relocation of office furniture in three phases. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04684-00T1001 and is being issued as a request for quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-19. This acquisition is a 100 % set-aside for small business participation only. The SIC Code is 4212 and size standard is $18.5million. The order will consist of a base line item for the first phase and two optional line items for phases two and three to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Contractor shall show breakdown cost for each phase, and shall provide a total price including all three phases. Contractors shall furnish all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to disassemble, relocate, and reassemble office furniture as stated below. The relocation dates from Phase II (Nov 00) & Phase III (Mar 01) will be based upon progress of the renovation in the affected buildings. Vendor must be available to schedule move with a 5-10 day notice. No personal items will be relocated during this move. Vendor must disassemble and reassemble some equipment, and each move must be completed by dateline stated in each phase. PHASE 1. NLT 28 SEP 00. _ Move electromechanical (EMT) shop approximately three miles away. EMT shop has lots of equipment and toolboxes to be moved. Move From Bldg 6601, rooms 16,16A, 17,18, 18A To Bldg 8314, rooms 119B, 120, and 120A, 120B, and 120C. PHASE 2- NLT 30 Nov 00 (contractor will be notified with 5-10 day notice) _ Move Operations Squadron to new addition less than one mile away. The move will consist of heavy equipment, desk and computer stations, and hardware. The miscellaneous office items will be moved to the second floor of Bldg 6601. Move from Bldg 6501, rooms 101,101A, 103 and 105,106,106A, 110,112,114,118,117,122 and 124. Move To Bldg 6601, rooms 202-215, 219,221,224,225 and 226. _ Move the Command Section and Logistic Operations, which consists of desks, printers, and computer chairs and other office miscellaneous items. Moved From 6601, rooms, A,1B,1C,3,4,6,7,7A,7B,8,12,12A,13,14,16,16A,17,18,18A,19,19A,20, and 20A. Move To Bldg 6510, rooms 101,101a,103,105,106,106A, 110 112,114,118,117,122 and 124. _ Move the Technical Library, Material Control and Maintenance Support Flight. This move will be an inter-building move from the existing facility to the new addition first floor. This will consists of personnel equipment, desks, chairs, equipment and miscellaneous office items. A book shelve system will require disassembly & reassemble. Move from Bldg 6601, rooms 9, 15,30,40,41A, and 42 Move to Bldg 6601, rooms 189,190,193, and 194. PHASE III- NLT 30 Mar 2001(contractor will be notified with 5-10 day notice) _ Move Command Section and Logistic Operation consisting mainly of desks and personnel equipment such as printers, computers, desks, chairs, and miscellaneous office items. Move from Bldg 6510, rooms, 1A, 1B, 1C, 3,4,6,7,7A, 7B, 8,12,12A, 12B, 13,14,16,16A, 17,18,18A, 19,19A, 20, and 20A. Move to Bldg 6601, rooms 101-142. _ Move Technical Library, Material Control and Maintenance Support Flight. This move will be reverse from inter-building. It will consist of personnel equipment, desk, chairs, equipment, and miscellaneous office items. A book shelve system will require assembly. Move from Bldg 6510, rooms 189,190,193 and 194. Move to Bldg 6601, rooms 1132 and 143-148. Contractor shall show breakdown cost for each phase. Contractor shall provide a complete total price for the job listed above. The Provisions at FAR 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial,"with the following addenda applies to this acquisition: Offerors shall submit past performance data consisting of three recent and relevant contracts with their offer. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2 "Evaluation-Commercial Items" applies to this acquisition. Insert in Para (a), "The following factors will be used to evaluate offers, (1) total price including all options and (2) past performance. Offerors must submit with their quotes a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations Certifications-Commercial Items" The clause at FAR 52.212.4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: FAR 52.219-8 "Notice to Total Small Business set-aside.
