- SYNOPSIS: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, in Jefferson County, West Virginia. The project consists of pavement resurfacing of Shoreline Road, Cavalier Heights parking area, Shenandoah Street, Whitman Street and Prospect Avenue. The work includes reconstruction of the pavement and stone wall at Hog Alley, milling, and other work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about September 18, 2000. Bids will be due on or about October 19, 2000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about September 18, 2000. The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
