Description

WALL STYLE TROOP SEATS, DUE 092900 POC Scott Gray, Director, CACI-ASG, (210) 735-1903. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this notice is to identify sources with the capability to manufacture standard, lightweight, folding, wall-style, side-facing troop seats for use in cargo-type fixed wing aircraft. This will be a vendor qualification effort based on responses to the technical data requirements (performance specification) provided by CACI-ASG. Interested vendors will be asked to submit proposals to CACI-ASG in accordance with a performance specification and statement of work provided by CACI-ASG. CACI-ASG seeks to identify sources with the manufacturing capabilities for design, development and production of dynamically tested crashworthy troop seats. Applicable vendor screening criteria for this sources sought notice are: in-plant engineering and support, crashworthiness, and the technical and production capabilities to manufacture the troop seats. After successful evaluation of capabilities, realism, materials, accuracy, price and production, the overall performance qualifications will be evaluated for the purpose of qualifying a vendor(s) for future government procurement of the seats. Vendors with ability to provide these services and willing to expedite the task should notify Mr. Scott Gray in writing prior to COB 09/29/00.
