Description

SYNOPSIS: Request for Proposal (RFP) Number: DAAH23-00-R-0615. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to establish a contract effort with the option to procure various part numbers in support of the T-55, T-63 and T-700 Turbine Engines over the next two (2) years with Honeywell International Inc., Engines and Systems Division, Phoenix, AZ 85072 (Cage Code 99193); SIC Code: 3724. Deliveries are F.O.B. Origin. All Offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition, requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the parts, or requires the use of master or coordinated tooling. Only approved source is Honeywell International, Inc. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
