- Description
- This is a Sole Source Acquisition to Raytheon Electronic Systems company, Danbury, CT. The Goverment plans to award a Time and Materials contract for one (1) basic year with four (4) one year options for Interim Contract Support (ICS) to perform Overhaul and Repair services for the end item and components of the AN/AVR-2/2A(V) Family of Laser Detecting Sets (LDSs). TS-4321A/AVR-2/2A(V) Family of Lser Detecting Test Sets, and thir components. The Overhaul and Repair contract shall pertain to both U.S. Army and U.S. Navy air and ground platforms. The contractor shall provide technical services, testing, software reprogramming, repair of systems and direct assistance in the testing, diagnosis and repair of the AN/AVR-2 Family of equipment on an "As-Needed" basis. The contractor will also be required to participate in technical interchange meetings. A level III drawing package is not available for this system because of recent engineering changes. This contractor is the only source with the requisite background able to provide the Government's requirements i.e., compatibility with the MILES/AGES II training systems a removable, re-programmable User Data Modules greater sensivity and enhanced threat processing capabilities, demonstrated experience in the design, development, manufacture, installation, testing and repair of laser warning receivers. Installation and testing experience includes U.S. Army and U.S. Navy air and ground platforms. A minimum clearance level of SECRET is required. Plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available can cannot be furnished by the Government. See Numbered Note: 22.
