Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation umber 0011265135-00774-1 is issued as a reqest for quotation (RFQ). The SIC Code is 3829. The Agency need is for a Multiprobe II STD w/computer robotic liquid handling system. The following specifications are necessary for the Multiprobe II liquid handling system, 4 sampling probes with independent z drives, varispan variable spacing between sampling probes, peristatlic pump for washing tips, independ liquid level sending, 3 multirack tiles, WIN prep software, 333 mHz computer, 17" monitor, teflon coated tips(4), 500 ul syringe assembly, plate adaptor support tiles (8), MPII SPE kit, 110v, black box power switch, MPII versatip kit. This solicitation incorporates clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This acquisition will be solicited on a unrestricted basis. Delivery is FOB Destination to the USDA in Beltsville, Maryland. Any interested/qualified sources who can provide the item stated above must respond by September 21, 2000. All responses will be evaluated in order to determine the capabilities stated in the RFQ. the government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive/responsible offerer whose quote conforms to the solicitation and will be be most advantageous to the Government based on price and other factors considered.. This procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items.
