- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written soliciation will not be issued. Solicitation number 0011265135-00761-7 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The SIC Code is 3826. The Agency need is for a Aminco-Bowman Series 2 Luminescence Spectrofluorometer. The following specifications are necessary for the Spectrofluorometer: 150W Continuous Wave Xenon, Thermostated Single Cell Holder, PCI GPIB Card, Windows 98 SE Operating System, 500K GX 1/M+Base computer with Integrated 4MB Video memory, Integrated Audio, 512 Cache, and Integrated WuOL 10/100, 64MB Non-Ecc SDRAM, 6.4GB Hard Drive 17-40x CD Rom, 1.44MB floppy, 13.8" Vieable Image Size Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse, Cable, AB2 Series Application Software for Windows. Wavelength Range 250-850nm, Scan Rate 3-6000nm/min, Slew Rate 12000nm/min, Wavelength Accuracy 0.5nm, Slits computer controlled from 0.5-16nm, Gratings: Ion-etched Concave Holographic, Full Emission and Excitation Correction, Power-up Hardware diagnostics, Buffered PMT Output signals for External Monitoring, cover Interlock to Protect PMT, Load Bearing top surface for Computer Placement, Low Instrument Profile, Small Footprint (17.25"D x 31"W x 9"H), 4 Position Cell Turret, Beam Condensing Lens, Flowcell 100ul, 15 Psi, Cuvette riser and Feflon Tubing (6 feet). FOB point is destination to the USDA in Beltsville, Maryland. Any interested/qualified sources who can provide the item stated above must respond by September 21, 2000. All responses will be evaluated in order to determine the capabilities stated in the RFQ. The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer, confirming the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. This procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items.
