Description

Three plant growth chambers are required by the National Seed Storage Laboratory, Fort Collins, CO and shall be procured from one vendor due to hookup with NSSL alarm system and software compatibility. Unit #1: Percival Model I-36LL with low temperature compressor added or comparable as follows: Interior capacity minimum of 29.6 cubic feet with a minimum of 4 adjustable shelves with lights mounted horizontally above each shelf, with lamps providing up to 65 micromoles/m/s and ballasts mounted outside chamber; temperature range of -10 degrees C to 40 degrees C and exterior dimensions of 33.5" wide x 34" deep x 77" high and one door opening. Unit #2: Percival Model I-36LL or comparable as follows: Interior capacity minimum of 29.6 cubic feet with a minimum of 4 adjustable shelves with lights mounted horizontally above each shelf, with lamps providing up to 65 micromoles/m/s and ballasts mounted outside chamber; temperature range of 2 degrees C to 50 degrees C; and exterior dimension of 33.5" wide x 34" deep x 77" high; and one door opening. Unit #3: Percival Model I-66LL or comparable as follows: Interior capacity minimum of 62 cubic feet with a minimum of 8 adjustable shelves; with lights mounted horizontally above each shelf; with lamps providing up to 72 micromoles/m.s and ballasts mounted outside chamber; temperature range shall be 4 degrees C to 44 degrees C with the lights on -- additional low temperature ballasts may be required; exterior dimensions of 66" wide x 34" deep x 77" high and two access doors door opening. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business (no more than 500 employees).
