Description

This solicitation is issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition under the guidelines of FAR Subpart 12,The VA North Texas Healthcare Systems, Dallas Facility, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas 75216, here-in-after referred to an VANTHCS anticipate the sole source award of the purchase of Bell and Howell Information and Learning microform Journals and Periodical for the VANTHCS Library Service. Offerors must be able to provide all titles listed and supply their own journals for the procedures of changing in microform. The Offerors must be using the original documents, which are in excellent condition for an exact photographic reproduction and include the full image of the publication. Microform shall be 35 mm Reel, Positive image, silver no exceptions. The microforms must be complete and uncut editions of all journals and periodical. Only the specified Journals and Periodicals required are acceptable. At no additional charges to the Government, the successful offeror shall be required to provide (1) FOB Destination.Delivery of Microform must be completed within 45 days from contract award. Hard copies of the solicitation must be requested in writing to Belinda L. Cook, Contract Specialist,VANTHCS (90C), 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas 75216,no phone, fax or e-mail request will be accepted. The written request must include a check or money order in the amount of $10.00 and must be made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is on or about September 1, 2000 with the anticipated bid opening on or about September 20, 2000.
