Solicitation number is hereby changed from: DTCG40-00-P-60153 to DTCG40-00-Q-60153. The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for a study to further understand and continue the investigation into cross flooding system performance characteristics present in modern frigate sized warships. This study shall be executed according to a scope of work developed by the USCG/ELC as a follow on to a recent UK Ministry of Defense study conducted by DERA Center for Marine Technology. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source solicitation will be issued for this study to: DERA Center for Marine Technology, Gosport, UK, unless additional sources are located. All responsible and responsive sources are invited to express their interest and ABILITY to provide the above-described study via fax in writing to Mr. Orofino, by requesting solicitation, including scope of work, no later than September 1, 2000. All responsive and responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The department of Transportation (DOT), short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
