Description

The Small Business Administration proposes to negotiate a sole source contract with N2H2, Inc. Seattle, Washington, to furnish Internet Monitor Hardware, Software, Installation and Maintenance. Actual start date is defined as the day licensee begins and runs for 2 years thereafter. Interested firms are invited to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by no later than 09/15/00, see numbered Note 22. This is a solicitation for commercial items (services) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Product description includes Filtering Appliance Installation (3 servers), Alteon Switch (1 switch) Installation, Switch Maintenance (1year), User Setup license (6,000), 1 time setup Systems log Server (custom), Annual Filtering Subscription (6,000) workstations. The provision at 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items" and the clauses at 52.212-5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items" and 52.212-5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items" apply to this acquisition.
