Description

The 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis AFB, NV intends to enter into a single source contract with Nevada Power Company. The requirement is for the following: Conduct and provide a technical study concerning the procurement and installation of fiber optic ground wire (OPGW) between Nellis Air Force Base and Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field, Nevada. Technical study shall include a detailed parts list including part numbers, stock numbers, quantities necessary to complete the upgrade of an estimated 90 kilometers/56 miles of OPGW. The SIC code is 8711. The solicitiation will be issued as a request for proposal RFP under F26600-00-R-Z002. The solicitation will be available at www.eps.gov . Only a written request sent to 99 CONS/LGCB, ATTN: MSgt Randall P. Cummins, 5865 Swaab Blvd., Nellis AFB NV 89191 (Fax 702-652-5405), received directly from the requestor on company letterhead will be accepted. Request for solicitation should be made no later than 4:00 PM on 13 Sep 00.
