Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Eastern and Western Area Commands Branch (DTS41) intends to issue a sole source contract to FileTek, Inc, 9400 Key West Ave, Rockville, MD 20850 for the renewal of software license/maintenance for the following proprietary products: SM2 Host/MVS, Primary License installed on an Amdahl GS795, S/N 78002415, Grp 110/120 and SM2 Host/MVS, Primary Host Subsystem License, installed on Hitachi Pilot 55, S/N 420203, Grp 70. These license are located at DECC Columbus, 3990 East Broad Street, Bldg #23, Columbus, OH 43216-5000 for the period of 1 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software must indicate their interest within 3 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9414 are acceptable. No conract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract.
