- Description
- The Energy Information Administration (EIA), Department of Energy Headquarters (DOE HQ) in Washington DC intends to award a contract to Standard & Poor's Data Resources Inc. (DRI), of Washington DC for continuing access for Fiscal Year 2001 to the following information services: Basic U.S. Economic Service, U.S. Macro Dataport, Comprehensive World Markets Service, World Energy Service, Natural Gas Price Outlook, U.S. Industry, International Forecast Dataport, International Historic Dataport and Ad Hoc Data Package. The period of performance will be one year. This proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but is an announcement for subcontracting opportunities only. No solicitation document is available for this acquisition. Interested parties may identify their interest and capacity to respond to this requirement or to submit capability statements. All proposals received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. The required response time is 15 calendar days rather than the 45 days prescribed by Note 22 as this is a commercial product; see FAR 5.203(b). A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note(s) 22 *****
