Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, FL intents to procure educational, social, human and support services and material associated with the operation of the Navy Family Services Center, Pascagoula, Mississippi. The proposed contract is for a base period and (4) one-year option periods. The Navy Family Services Center is a human, social and educational services agency required to perform a core of services to support the fleet readiness and retention of all active duty personnel and their families. General functions include: information, referral and counseling services, coordination of Navy and community resources, support of command efforts which strengthen the stability of the individual and the family, case assessment and assistance in problem resolution, family education programs, a preventive/education role in the Navy's Family Advocacy Program, assistance to special needs families and implementation of services related to local circumstances and needs. The standard industrial code (SIC) is 8322. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-a-Side. E-mail requests for copy of the solicitation is the preferred method for requesting solicitations.
