- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, #F8CER102020200, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 7699 and the small business size is $5.0 million or less in annual receipts. This solicitation is for maintenance and repair of all elevators located on Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. To obtain a complete statement of work contact the buyer, Darlene Keister, at 210-536-6261 or preferably via e-mail at darlene.keister@brooks.af.mil Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3)shall be included with all offers. The following contract clauses are applicable to this acquisition: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. Offerors shall address all requirements in this combined synopsis/solicitation, and shall provide clear evidence of understanding and the ability and willingness to comply with the Government's specifications of need. Failure to address a specification/requirement will be construed by the Government as inability to meet the need, or the offeror's taking exception to it. The Government anticipates awarding one order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitaion to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to to this synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) technical capability of the item offered to meed the Government requirements; and (2) price. The Government reserves the right to award a purchase order without discussions. A basic plus one option year award is anticipated. Selection will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers.
