Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Yardney Water Management System, Riverside, CA under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. This procurement is for equipment replacement/upgrade of worn out filter system to automatic sand media filtration system and controller located at VA Riverside National Cemetery, 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357. The proposed contract action is for equipment upgrades for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, September 8, 2000, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
