Description

The US Coast Guard MLCP purposes to contract for work on the US Coast Guard cutter SWEETBRIER in Kodiak, AK. Work will commemce on 13 Nov through 8 Dec 2000. Work items will include; Install of quarry tile deck in CPO head/shower. 15 ton crane level 1 inspection and test, cargo hoisting padeye testing, vent duct cleaning and relief valve test, set and label. A Request For Quote will be issued OOA 26 Sept 2000. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside procurement. For Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, The Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportaiton-related contracts. Loans are avaialble under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accouts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
