Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions under a new Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-00-G-5241with Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems, Naval and Maritime Integrated Systems, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871-1087. Orders will be issued for design agent and engineering services for the AN/SPS-73 Radar. Services shall include: analysis and design services to resolve obsolete parts issues for AN/SPS-73; analysis and design services to resolve system integration and installation issues related to AN/SPS-73; analysis and design to resolve reliability, maintainability, and availability issues for AN/SPS-73; and studies on equipment upgrades, engineering changes and alterations of AN/SPS-73. Individual orders placed under this BOA shall be synopsized, when required. Individual orders placed under this BOA will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems, Naval and Maritime Integrated Systems is the manufacturer of AN/SPS-73 and the only known company with the technical qualifications; design and production knowledge and necessary resources to perform the work described herein.
