Description

Ref: BCB cite W-228 AN486334, dated 17 Aug 2000. The Operations Support Command (OSC) has determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to re-examine the acquisition strategy outlined in the referenced CBD notice. As a result, the referenced notice, for operations and maintenance of Scranton Army Ammunition Plant (SCAAP), is hereby cancelled. As part of this re-examination process, the OSC is requesting that any contractor who has an interest in becoming the operation and maintenance contractor at SCAAP, provide the Point of Contact (POC) written notification of interest. Along with the notification, the interested contractor is requested to submit a list of their qualification to become the operator similar type industrial facilities. The information submitted, in response to this synopsis, will be submitted to the POC, Commander, AMSOS-CCM-E/Attn: Grant Curtis, Rock Island IL 61299-6000, no later than 20 Sep 2000. Once this evaluation is completed, this contracting action will be re-synopsized in the CBD.
