Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The solicitation is for a/an non-personal service contract for two Dental Assistant's for the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp at Victorville, CA. The contractor's will assist the Dentist in all aspects of Dentistry. The contractor's must be completely familiar with four-handed Dentistry with respect to all technical methods and procedures as practiced. A complete job description is outlined in the solicitation. This contract will be based on five sessions per week, with the session length defined as six hours not to exceed 30 hours per week each. The hours will be from 8:30am to 3:00pm (includes half hour non-pay lunch), Monday thru Friday. The time period of this contract will be for Fiscal Year 2001. This is a contractual agreement and not an appointment, the service does not constitute an employer/employee relationship. The Government will award a contract or contracts to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government.
