- Description
- The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office, Atlanta, Georgia, is soliciting the services of a qualified medical entity located within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the Federal Correctional Complex located in Coleman, Florida. The services will be provided for the the inmates incarcerated in the Federal Correctional Complex, Low, Medium, Camp and future Penitentiary, located at 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, Florida 33521. The hospital shall make available on a nodiscriminatory basis, inpatient and outpatient services, in a manner consistent with the medical needs of the patients and in accordance with medical standards for quality and cost effective patient care. The preferred payment methodology is BENCHMARKING. Hospitals are requested to contact the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. All requests for solicitation packages or information must be in writing and include the RFP number (RFP 452-0012), specific information about location of your medical facility, and the name of the contact person(s) and telephone number. Location of the facility will be within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the Federal Correctional Complex area. The estimated issue date of the Request for Proposal is August 29, 2000, with an anticipated reciept date of October 17, 2000. The contract period will include a base year and four (4) one year option renewal periods. he estimated inpatient days are recorded below. Base year minimum 25, maximum 500 inpatient days; Option year (1) minimum 30, maximum 650 inpatient days; Option year (2) 35 minimum, 800 maximum inpatient days; option year (3) 40 minimum, 950 maximum inpatient days; and option year (4) 45 minimum, 1100 maximum inpatient days.*****
