Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F11623-00-T-0750 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. The associated standard industrial classification code is 1796 and the small business size standard is $18.5 Million. There is 0002 contract line items and the quantity is two (2) Jobs. Job 1 involves replacement of about 18000 square feet of carpet tile with government furnished tile while furniture remains in place. Job 2 involves reconfiguring office space to include demountable walls, Haworth system furniture and incidental building utility items in Air Force Communications Agency Facilities, principally building 1700, 203 West Losey Street, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5222. Both Jobs with be awarded as one job to be completed by one contractor. The contractor must be a certified Haworth furniture installer in order to be considered for a valid bid. The Air Force shall provide all major items of material and supplies which include the following: Demountable walls, Haworth Unigroup system furniture, Suspended ceiling tiles, Access floor systems, electrical/communications/LAN floor boxes, Fluorescent and Incandescent lighting fixtures, air condition supply and return grills, thermostats, carpet tile and base with adhesive. The contractor shall provide all incidental items (nuts, bolts, ect.) to the job site. The customer will electronically send before and after floor plan drawings of the actual work site in detail to the contractor. The contractor will then review the drawings and make a determination of the total number of hours to complete the required job according to the drawings. The contractor must have access to a CAD system that_s capable of printing and viewing the drawings that are provided by the customer. These drawing will provide the contractor with a before drawing of the work area and an after drawing of the work area shall look like when the job is completed. Work is to begin no later than 14 calendar days after the award of the Contract. This solicitation incorporates _all or none_ qualifications in accordance with (FAR) 14.404-5.
