Description

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located in Ashland, Kentucky intends to award a Guard Service Contract. The contractor will be responsible to provide security to minimum and low custody federal prisoners that are confined in a local hospital for medical treatment. These services shall be provided in accordance with the statement of work. The goverment anticipates awarding a firm fixed price, requirements type of contract as a result of this request for quote. The SIC is 7381. The contract period will run from the date of award through September 30, 2001. The request for quote will be issued on September 8, 2000, and offers will be due by close of business on September 22, 2000. This package will utilize full and open competition.
