Description

The VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas, intends to negotiate and award a sole source maintenance agreement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) with Norstan Communications, Tulsa, Oklahoma, for maintenance on our Siemens Hicom 300E telephone switch. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made. Contractor must provide necessary software upgrades, Siemens replacement parts, 24-hour help desk service manned by vendor trained personnel, 24-hour emergency repair service with 2 hour on site response time, remote, as well as on site diagnostic and repair services. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. All inquiries must be addressed in writing to the address stated herein, ATTN: Donna Lenz. Responses to this notice must be received within thirty (30) days after this synopsis is posted electronically. Consideration of the responses is solely within the discretion of the Government, generally for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
