Description
US Southern Command requires shuttle bus service, with drivers, Mondays through Fridays, 0700 -- 1600 hours, 01 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01, to transport military and civilian personnel between Command headquarters, Command Education Center, NW 33rd Street, Miami, FL, and the Veteran's Administration Hospital, NW 16th Street, Miami, FL. Vehicles must be eight (8) passenger van, less than 3 years old, fully air conditioned, with all federally required safety devices in proper working order at all times. Bus failure will require complete replacement within one (1) hour. The solicitation describes further vehicle and driver requirements; award will be based on price and verification of all performance requirements. Contractor must be Central Contractor registered in order to be considered for award. This requirement is currently unfunded and the award will be made subject to availability of funds. Anticipated date of award is 18 Sep 2000. Copies of the solicitation are limited to the first 15 fax requests made to (305) 437-2752. Vendors may submit price quotes by fax. "See Note 1."
