Description

The United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for sites or existing buildings in Yorkville, NY 13495. The site size desired is between 44,800 and 87,120 square feet of land, excluding setbacks, easements, drainage and water retention, septic requirements and any other unusual conditions affecting development and use. The optimum site dimensions are 271 feet of frontage by 202 feet of depth. Requirements for existing buildings are 1,965 square feet of net interior space, 333 square feet of platform space, and 17,835 square feet of driveway, parking and maneuvering area. All sites within the preferred area will be considered; however, sites offered within the following boundaries will receive priority consideration: North by Whitesboro St; South by Campbell Ave; East by Champlain Ave; and West by Sauquoit Creek. Offers must be submitted on a USPS Assignable Option to Purchase Form, and shall provide a minimum of 9 months for acceptance of the offer. The successful location must be properly zoned, if applicable, for use as a post office, or must be capable of being rezoned for such use without delay of construction. Proposals will be received through October 6, 2000.
