Description: See numbered ntoes 1, 9, and 26. NSN 1005-00-193-8306 -- Bag, Protective (for 30 round magazine). Exception to drawing: Use "NSN 1005-00-193-8306" in lieu of "FSN 1005-193-8306" as called out in Note 9 of drawing 8448464. Use MIL-W-63150 in lieu of SQAP-Appendix-RIA. Use ASTM A653/A653M in lieu of QQ-S-775. Use commercial grade pernament ink in lieu of TT-I-1795. This is a solicitation for an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract (IQC) with an estimated yearly quantity of 6816 boxes to be shipped to various stock locations within CONUS. Solicitation includes a base year and one priced option year. Required delivery is for up to 1704 boxes to be delivered in 90 days with an additional 568 boxes every 30 days thereafter. The solicitation will be available on the web after 09/18/00 at "http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp". A written quote is required at the address in block 8 on page 1 of the solicitation by the date and time specified. EBB qutoes are not acceptable. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business and all responsible, domestic small business offers will be considered. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Automated Best Value Systems (ABVS) applies. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation.
