Description

The 30 CONS/LGCB, 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437 is issuing this synopsis to provide preventive maintenance on the Picker X-Ray Systems (2 each Vector 100, 1 each MPX, located in BLDG 13850) to consist of at least one inspection, for a basic year of 01 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01, with four option year periods. The solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation to be posted on or about 05 Sep 00 at http//www.eps.gov under (FPO FOR VENDORS), (USAF OFFICES), (AIR FORCE SPACE COMMAND LOCATIONS), (30CONS, VANDENBERG AFB, CA, POSTED DATE). The solicitation (F04684-01-QV001) and Statement of Work will be attached to this notification as a modification on or about 05 Sep 00. The solicitation will contain one basic year with four option periods. This acquisition is set-aside for small business and is subject to the availability of FY 01 funds. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), which will replace SIC as of 01 Oct 00, is 811219. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), which will no longer be used after 30 Sep 00, is 7699, $5.0M. Questions will be taken no later than 4:00 p.m. on 08 Sept 00. All interested parties may provide a quote with documentation to support the ability to provide maintenance on the above referenced items.
