Description

The objective for this request for quotes is to procure a new or used double wide modular office trailer for the Chemical Agent Munitions Disposal System (CAMDS) near Stockton, Utah. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, travel, supervision, and materials to disconnect and move an existing trailer; and to install and hook up the new or used trailer. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price, commercial items purchase order will be awarded. Period of performance is 74 days after receipt of the purchase order. Any prospective contractor interested in competing on this request for quotes must be registered at the Huntsville Center Website on the planholders list. If you are not registered, the United States Government is not responsible for providing you notification of any changes or amendments to this solicitation. Also, to be considered for award, the prospective contractor must appear in the DOD Central Contractor Registration. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr2000.com/. This is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial code is 2451; the size standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that the request for quotes package will be available at the web site http://www.hnd.usace.army.mil/contract on or about September 5, 2000. Quotations will be due on or about September 15, 2000.
