Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format outlined in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. M67854-00-R-1083 Request for Proposal, the solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This is a full and open procurement. 0001 Isolation Transformer 56 EA -- Description -- Input shall be 110/120 VAC, single phase, 16 amperes maximum. The equipment shall have output receptacles, which are fused and switched. The output shall be switched allowing either OFF, 115 VAC or 220 VAC. The isolation transformer shall have both 115 VAC and 220 VAC independent outputs, one provided at a time. The enclosure shall have female output receptacles. It shall have two 115 VAC output receptacles, 16 amperes capability: First for 115AC 15A, NEMA 5-15R or equivalent receptacle, second for 115VAC 20A NEMA 5-20R or equivalent receptacle. It shall have 220VAC output receptacle(s) 8 Amp capability: minimum one NEMA 6-15R or equivalent receptacle, two are acceptable. The isolation transformer shall be enclosed to prevent shock hazard. The input to the isolation transformer shall be via power cord with three-prong plug, which is included. The weight of the isolation transformer shall not exceed 80 lbs. Packaging shall be in accordance with ASTM D3951. FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Mar 2000) applies to this Request for Proposal. FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Jan 1999), paragraph "a" applies to this Request for Proposal. Specific evaluation criteria is as follows: Technically acceptable, price and past performance. Offeror shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Feb 2000)with offer. FAR 52.212-4 -- CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS -- COMMERCIAL-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (May 1999) applies to this acquisition. 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Aug 2000) applies to this acquisition. (a) The Contractor shall comply with the following FAR clauses, which are incorporated in this contract by reference, to implement provision of law or Executive Orders applicable to acquisitions of commercial items: (1) 52.22-3, Convict Labor (E.O. 11755, (2) 52.233-3, Protest after Award (31 U.S.C. 3553).
