Description

Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Amersham Pharmacia Biotech for a Typhoon 8600 (Product #8600WK) and PC Workstation. The Typhoon is the only instrument that combines the features of dual laser line flourimaging at 532 nm and 633 nm plus phosphorimaging. It is also compatible with computer software and data storage that is currently being used. The Typhoon has great capabilities and high levels of sensitivity. It can be used for multi-colour fluorescence, filmless autoradiography, and chemiluminescene, all in one machine.
