Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAIALABLE. (ii) Solicitation number N00104-00-Q-Q519 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19.(iv) This acquisition is not set aside for small business concerns. (v) NAVICP intends to procure commercially available Information Technology equipment for the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC), Ogden, Utah. (vi) The equipment includes: CLIN 0001 Thermal Plotter (Plot Speed: 400dpi/2 ips; Plot Width: 23.5 inches; Dot Size: 2.5 mil centers (400 dpi); Plot data/line: 1,176 bytes (400 dpi); Media Width: 24 inches; Configuration: Roll ; Capacity: 200 or 500 feet; Media Types: Draft, report and premium grade paper, vellum and film; Technology: Direct Thermal Imaging (no toner); Interface: Versatec, differential or TTL, Greensheet protocol and V-80 compatible; Writing head configuration: Single row dot array; Warranty: One year covering defects in material and workmanship, printhead and moving parts covered under normal use conditions. Compatibility: Must be able communicate with the JEDMICS system.), 12 Each; CLIN 0002 -- Greensheet Windows Driver software, 12 Each; and CLIN 0003 -- Thermal Media (500-foot rolls), 12 Each. (vii) Delivery is 25 September 2000, FOB destination.(viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (AUG 1998), applies to this acquisition.(ix) A firm fixed price contract will be awarded on basis of lowest price technically acceptable quote and delivery schedule.(x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (FEB 1999) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (NOV 95) with offers.
