Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Eastern and Western Area Commands Branch (DTS41) intends to issue a sole source contract to Sterling Commerce, 5215 North O'Connor Blvd, Ste 300, Irving TX 75039-3771. This acquisition is for software license renewal and maintenance for the period 1 Oct 00 thru 30 Sep 01, at the Defense Megacenter Mechanicsburg PA; and Defense Megacenter Ogden UT;. The Software is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. The software products are CONNECT-DIRECT TRACS; CONNECT-DIRECT MVS (COMBO) and CONNECT-DIRECT MVS (SNA). Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for Quotation/Proposal. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. Oral communications are not acceptable.
