Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to enter into a sole source follow-on contract with the incumbent small business contractor, Federal Computer International Corporation, for per-call maintenance and repair of local area network (LAN) and desktop (Premise) information technology equipment. The equipment includes, but not inclusive of, routers, servers, workstations, monitors, printers, and power conditioning devices, and is located at the following DISA locations: DISA PAC, Wheeler AFB, Hawaii; DISA-NWP (North West Pacific), Yokota, Japan; DISA Guam Field Office, Guam, Mariana; DISA EUR, Vaihingen, Germany; DISA EUR, Brussels, Belgium; DITCO Europe, Sembach AB, Germany. FCIC is the only known source in these locations capable of handling this relatively small quantity of equipment, which is geographically dispersed throughout the world. DISA intends to award a time and materials contract with a one-year base period a three one-year option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals not later than 3:00PM 11 September 2000. This requirement is being issued by the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). See Note 22.
