Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center, Austin, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to Bell & Howell of Durham, North Carolina, for the maintenance of the following mailing/inserting equipment: 1) Imperial 10000 Inserter with folder, model CEXP-4-PMPM, full service coverage with 12 inspections per year, 2) Mailstar 500 Inserter with folder, full service coverage with 12 inspections per year, and 3) Phillipsburg PF-1722 series PF-418B Folder, Model 2PAR18x22, full coverage with 6 inspections per year. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. All responses must be submitted in writing within 10 calendar days of publication of this notice. Written responses can also be faxed to 512-326-6028.
