- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Lanier Worldwide, 2743 Parkway, Augusta, Georgia for complete maintenance of a Lanier Voice Writer 64NT dictation system and combination of another dictation system (comprised of various components) into one system located in Radiology for the period October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001. Maintenance shall include routine, after hours, and software monitoring. Negotiations to begin on or about September 21, 2000. SIC code is 7278. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting proposals and literature, describing how their service meets the VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax (706) 731-7172. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is subject to to the availability of Fiscal Year 2001 funding. "See Note 22."
