- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires a Occupational Health Maintenance Program (OHMP) to provide medical examinations at College Station and Temple, Texas Locations in support of the Agency's OHMP. Period of performance will be from award date through September 30, 2000, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, management, equipment, materials, and other resources necessary to perform occupational medical evaluations, program guidance, expert medical advice, data acquisition, management, and storage. ARS will provide the identity of the chemical, biological, and physical agents to which the participating employee may have been exposed and a description of the condition under which the exposure may have occurred. The contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the evaluation of exposures to chemical, biological, and physical agents. The contractor shall possess the minimum qualifications listed: (1) Doctor of Medicine degree (MD); (2)Board Certified in Occupational Medicine; (3) Experience practicing as an Occupational Physician; (4) Experience with occupational chemical sensitization, chemical allergies, and multiple chemical sensitivities. The contractor shall be located within 30 miles of the USDA, ARS, facilities located in College Station, and Temple, Texas. Copy of the solicitation will only be provided in response to written, e-mailed, or faxed requests received directly from the contractor. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is a new requirement and there is no incumbent contractor. AWARD IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FY 2001 FUNDING.
