- Description
- Based upon Government approved funding, the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Computer Associates International, Inc., a modification to an existing contract for a MIPS (Millions of Instructions Per Second) based increase in licenses to support the Medicare Managed Care Redesign and the National Medicare Utilization Database. The period of performance will be September 25, 2000 through March 30, 2001. The procurement will be conducted under other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). The licenses are for proprietary software inclusive of license fees, maintenance and customer support for Computer Associates, Inc. software installed at the HCFA Data Center. If no affirmative written documentation is received within 15 calendar days of this synopsis, HCFA will proceed with negotiations to issue a contract modification. POC: Peggy Hetrick (410) 786-3011.
