Description

Provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material necessary to provide janitorial services at the National Marine Fisheries Service Buildings, Milford Laboratory, 212 Rogers Avenue, Milford, CT. Building No. 1 is the primary facility for which janitorial services are being advertised. The total work area covered by the specifications for Building No. 1 is approximately 15,424 square feet. The total work areas for two option buildings are approximately 3,164 square feet for Building No. 2 and approximately 988 square feet for Building No. 10. Period of Performance will be October 15, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with two one-year options. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will only be provided in response to written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor. Telephone requests will not be honored. Requests for copies of the solicitation may be faxed to (757) 441-3786. Offers received by October 4, 2000 will be considered for award. Award will be made on October 10, 2000. Numbered Notes 1 and 26 apply.
