Description

The United States Department of Agriculture(USDA),Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Monitoring & Residue Analysis Laboratory (NMRAL),requires a follow-on contract for janitorial services at 9 buildings located at the USDA facility at 3505 25th Avenue,Gulfport, Mississippi.The buildings consist of approximately 30,000 square feet of combined space as follows: Building 1, Regional Office, 10,200 square feet; Building 2, Laboratory, 3,000 square feet; Building 3, Laboratory, 3000 square feet; Building 4, Admin/Laboratory; Building 5, Laboratory, 3,000 Square Feet; Building 8, Warehouse, 3,100 Square Feet; Building 10, Laboratory/Storage, 1,114 Square Feet; Building 14, Laboratory, 60 Square Feet; and, Building 16, Laboratory/Office, 2,000 Square Feet. A firm, fixed-price contract will be awarded for the period, October 1, 2000, or date of award, whichever is later, through September 30, 2001, with 4 1-year unilateral renewal options to extend the effective period of the contract. The "request for proposals (RFP)" is a 100% small business set aside. The estimated release date is September 7, 2000. Telephone requests for a copy of the RFP WILL NOT be accepted. A limited number of RFP's are available. Priority will be given to the incumbent contractor and the first 25 companies responding to this synopsis.
