Description

The project consists of the installation of a Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) project, streambank stabilization measure along Wright Brook at the West Street bridge in the Town of Mt. Washington, Massachusetts. The Government estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Work is to begin approximately September 20, 2000. Performance time is 28 calendar days. The major items of work include: Mobilization (LS); Clearing (LS); Pollution Control (LS); Excavation (1000 CY); Gravel Fill (600 CY); Crushed Stone (150 Ton); Traffic Control (LS); Rock Riprap (200 Ton); Perf. Pipe (250 LF); Streambank Restoration (LS); Bioengineering (LS); and Concrete (LS). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. A Presolicitation Notice will be issued. There will be a site showing/conference on September 14, 2000 at 10:00 am. Interested parties will meet at the West Street bridge along Wright Brook, in the Town of Mt. Washington, MA. "Request For Quotations" packages may be picked up at USDA-NRCS, 451 West Street, Amherst, MA on or after September 12, 2000 or at the site showing.
