- Description
- The U.S. Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) is seeking price and availability estimates for a Mobile Marketing Unit. I request that you provide rough order magnitude (ROM) price and delivery schedule for each of the following proposed items: -- 1 each Mobile Marketing Trailer and Tractor (Like Introductory Study Alternate 2) compatible tractor/trailer combination American Made like Mack or Peterbuilt (prefer to buy trailer and tractor from one contractor). -- trip to Czechoslovakia by contractor to define requirement. -- Initial Spares parts kit -- 1 year (Concurrent Spare Parts list is not required at this time). -- Best Commercial Export Packaging: -- Commercial operator, parts and service manual (PSM) 2 each -- Location of local dealers and repair facilities in Europe -- Where will they be produced? What country Do you sell a warranty which is valid in Europe? Please separately state the price. Do not include Technical Equipment (Audio/Visual, Computer, Radio System etc) Please send us three copies of your commercial literature. I have been asked to obtain price estimates which will be valid for twelve months. Your estimates should be as accurate as possible but don't go to any extraordinary efforts to construct your response to this letter. You should respond as soon as possible. I request your response before Oct 1, 2000. This request seeks information for planning purposes only, and thus we can't reimburse you for any costs you may incur in formulating your response. However, we would sincerely appreciate your efforts. The country's decision to proceed with the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case will, in part, be contingent upon the cost estimates that we provide. If, after receipt of estimates, the country decides to proceed with the FMS case then, we will immediately proceed with a solicitation.
