Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-QZ049) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business concerns. The SIC code for this solicitation is 5046. Far 19 classifies small business as those having 500 or fewer employees. Item description is as follows: 10 ea. Southwest Microwave Model 802BI, Manufacturer: Southwest Microwave, Inc OR EQUAL, if the contractor is bidding an equal, you must submit literature in order to compare the difference and 20 ea. Transceiver Sure Protectors, Manufacturer: Southwest Microwave, Inc. Manfucturer part number: JB20 OR EQUAL, if the contractor is bidding an equal, you must submit literature in order to compare the difference. Quotations should be firm fixed price that includes all cost necessary to purchase and ship items to Nellis AFB, NV 89191_ The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Price- price will be an important factor in the award of this purchase order. Prices will be analyzed and evaluated based on price competition most advantageous to the government. (2)Small Business Status-as outline in FAR Part 19.502-2 this requirement is set aside for small businesses. (3) Delivery _ delivery time will be a consideration in determining the best value in the award of this purchase order. (4)Past performance and technical data will be equal to price in determining best value. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror who provides the best overall value to the government. The clause at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Offerors who fail to submit a completed Representations and Certification may be considered non-responsive.
