Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends on negotiating a sole source contract with Translogic Corporation of Rolling Meadows, IL to expand the existing Translogic CTX-30 Matrix. This system will be integrated into the existing Translogic CTX-30 pneumatic tube system located at the VA Hospital, Madison WI. Justification: The Government believes this contractor is the only source able to provide this equipment necessary to complete the expansion of the existing system; the CTX-30 is the only equipment available which is compatible with existing mechanical and communication componentry and Translogic is the sole source for replacement parts required for a complete operation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Other sources that believe they can meet the VA needs must furnish product information and references to this office no later than 2:00 pm on September 15, 2000. Oral communications are not acceptable. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
