17. The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, Ca. has a requirement for a Robot automated liquid handling device. The device must have 8 independently programmable probes with independent liquid-level sensing, support for washable and disposable tip systems with the same operating head, supported robotic arm, 96 or 384 well sample plates, bar-code identification & direct import of re-arraying sources locations from a common spreadsheet.
