Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to furnish, deliver and stock pile 1000 tons of ditch lining material (rip rap) to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, Sebastian, FL. A minimum of 5 truck loads will be required daily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Deliveries are to be made from January 1, 2001 through June 30, 2001. Weight tickets are required for each delivery. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns with a Size Standard of 500 employees. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1429.
